Bonnie Rogers Formyduval: Nakina

     Bonnie Rogers Formyduval of Nakina died Wednesday, April 10 in Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. She was 86.
     Born in Yucca, Ala., she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Sartin Rogers and the wife of the late Victor F. FormyDuval. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mrs. FormyDuval was a piano teacher and church pianist at Old Dock United Methodist Church for many years, and previously served at Temple Baptist Church in Tennessee.
     She is survived by four step-daughters: Judy Carroll and Heidi Duncan of Whiteville, Jennifer Huggins of Chadbourn and Loretta Clyburn of Durham; two step-sons, Eddie FormyDuval and Willie FormyDuval of Old Dock; a sister, Mable Rogers Hollingsworth of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, Larry Rogers of Tennessee; four grandchildren; one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.  
     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 12, in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.
     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13 at Old Dock United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the FormyDuval Family Cemetery.
