Ruby Lee Dorman: Green Sea

     Ruby Lee Dorman of Green Sea died Monday, June 24, in Loris Extended Care Center, Loris. She was 89.
     Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Tressie Todd and Aubrey B. Jackson. She was the widow of the late Hubert Elwood Dorman. She was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Floyd; and two brothers, Earl Jackson and Frank Jackson.
     She is survived by two daughters, Gerry Dukes of Mt. Pleasant,  and Jean Johnson and husband James of Lynchburg; five sons, Lowell Dorman and wife Pamela of Green Sea, Philip Dorman and wife Edwina of Green Sea, Larry Dorman and wife Faye of Loris, David Floyd and wife Ann of Loris, Craig Dorman and wife Annette of Tabor City; five brothers, Austin Jackson of Mullins, Bruce Jackson of Loris, Brooks Jackson and Eugene Jackson both of Green Sea, Jim Jackson of Nichols; three sisters, Lois Summerford and Flora Mae Simmons, both of Florence, and Louise Martin of Loris; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
     Funeral services were planned for 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, in Green Sea Baptist Church by Rev. Jerry Phillips with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family planned to receive friends in the church fellowship hall during the hour prior to the service.
