Green Sea man shot in Green Acres

     A Green Sea man shot in the head inside the Green Acres subdivision east of Tabor City Monday evening was clinging to life late Tuesday.

     Carl Snyder, 54, of Alpine Drive, just across the state line from Tabor City, was conscious and talking with first responders summoned to Green Acres Road before 8 p.m. Monday, Capt. Jason Soles of the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said.

     Snyder was taken directly to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.
