A Hardee will replace a Hardee on Loris City Council next year, with its makeup otherwise unchanged in the unofficial tally of Tuesday’s election.
Council veteran Lewis Hardee finished fourth in the race for three council seats, behind political newcomer Terrence Hardee who will fill that seat.
Mike Suggs, the other council veteran on the ballot, was the top vote-getter, followed by Todd Harrelson who has served about a year following a resignation from the panel.
Charles (Cobi) Williams finished fifth, with William Dillenbeck trailing the pack in the unofficial counting.
Results won’t be official until the Board of Elections holds its canvas Thursday, but appeared unlikely to change.
