Three men sought in Norris Country Store hold-up

     Three men are being sought in the armed robbery of a Tabor City area convenience store Tuesday night.

     No one was hurt in the hold-up at Norris Country Store at 6088 Swamp Fox Hwy East, Tabor City, Columbus County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Michelle Tatum said Wednesday.

     Two female employees were in the store when three men entered at about 8:45 p.m., one pointing at the cashier who was behind the counter, demanding money. Another employee was stocking shelves.

     With about $250 in cash from the register, the men fled on foot, heading towards Shug Norris Road.

     “All three men were wearing bgray hoodies tightened over their face,” Tatum said.

     Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to contact the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
