NC 904 reopens

UPDATE 9 a.m.

     Swampfox Hwy East (NC 904) reopened to traffic just before 9 a.m. Friday, two and a half hours after a two-vehicle wreck at New Life Church Road shut it down, the Tabor City Fire Department reported.

     There were injuries in the crash, none believed to be life threatening.

6:30 a.m.

     A two-vehicle crash, one reportedly a large truck, has shut down Swamp Fox Hwy East (NC 904) east of Tabor City.

     There were apparently no serious injuries, but crash just before 6:30 a.m., has shut down the highway in both directions. Tabor City Fire Department crews are directing traffic onto alternate routes on either side of the crash scene, on NC 904 at New Life Church Road.
