Wind got the better of an awning and stucco façade at Josephs Law Firm in Loris Friday afternoon. Potentially dangerous weather remains in the forecast for the area, with a tornado watch that includes Horry and Columbus counties to expire at midnight. Heavy rain and high winds have impacted broad areas of southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina, with impacts felt through much of both Carolinas.
