Lynda Susan Benton: Tabor City

1957 – 2019

     Lynda Susan Benton of Tabor City died Wednesday, June 26, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. She was 62.

     Born Jan. 16, 1957 in Marietta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Simeon Paul Benton and Clifford Frances Wilson Benton.

     She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tabor City.

     She is survived by her extended family at Goremont Assisted Living in Tabor City.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Moody.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial to follow at a later date in Culloden City Cemetery in Monroe County, Georgia.
