Alice “Faye” Hayes: Cerro Gordo

1950 – 2019

     Alice “Faye” Hayes of Cerro Gordo died Thursday, Aug. 15, in her home. She was 69.

     Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Davis Graham and Alice C. Graham.

     She is survived by her husband, Claude Hayes, of the home; one son, Scott (Angie) Pfennig of Newton Grove; two daughters, Jennifer Huckaby of Boise, Idaho, and Janice (Rick) Fipps of Lumberton; four grandchildren, Brandon Huckaby, Amber Pfennig, Brianna Pfennig, and Chloe Pfennig; and one great-grandchild, Addison Huckaby.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, in Meares Funeral Home, Fair Bluff.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, in Cherry Grove Baptist Church, burial following in the church cemetery.
