Carolyn King Gore: Tabor City

1952 – 2019

     Carolyn King Gore of Tabor City died Saturday Aug. 17, in her home. She was 66.

     Born in Mullins, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. King and Mattie Caulder King. She was the widow of John Alan Gore.

     She was member of Olyphic Baptist Church and was employed by Farm Service Agency in Whiteville for 41 years.

     She is survived by one son, Christopher A. Gore of Tabor City; a daughter, Crystal Gore Cate of Fayetteville; two brothers, Billy King and Terry King of Tabor City; and five grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Norman King; and three sisters, Vera King, Vonita Marlowe and Rosie K. Brigman.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday Aug. 19 in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Olyphic Baptist Church, Tabor City, burial following in the church cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Inman Ward Funeral Home.
