Arnette A. Hill: Whiteville

1943 – 2019

     Arnette A. Hill of Whiteville passed away Monday, Aug. 26, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House. She was 75.

     She was born Nov. 29, 1943 in New London, Connecticut, the daughter of James D. and Elise Dart Beck.

     Surviving are three daughters, Suzanna Hill Lee of Supply, Wendy Jean Hill of Clarendon, and Bobbie Faircloth of Tabor City; one son, J.J. Hill of Nakina; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several sisters and brothers; several nieces and nephews.

     Mrs. Hill was predeceased by her companion, Jimmy Jernigan; a brother, Jimmy Beck; and a son-in-law, Jamie “Darrell” Faircloth.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 3, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding the service at the funeral home.
