Christine Daphne Gerald Page: Loris

1936 – 2019

     Christine Daphne Gerald Page of Loris passed away Saturday, Sept. 21. She was 83.

     Mrs. Page was born Aug. 30, 1936 in Loris to the late Lucian Cornelius Gerald and the late Blantie Moore Gerald. She worked with the IGA grocery store as a cashier and was a long time member of Cane Branch Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many.

     Family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the staff of Heartland Hospice and her caregiver, Debbie Johnson for their compassionate and loving care during this difficult time.

     Survivors include three sons, Charles Wesley Page Jr. and wife, Cathy and James Gerald Page and wife, Angela of Covington, Georgia and Ronnie Dale Page and wife Barbara of McDonough, Georgia; two daughters, Lydia Hardee of Loris and Christine Priscilla Vaught and her husband, Jimmy of Galivants Ferry; two brothers, Larry Gerald and wife Loretta of Loris and Eldred Gerald and wife, Susan of Little River; a sister, Elnita Chestnut of Loris; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Page was predeceased by her husband, Charles Wesley Page Sr., five brothers, Cleveland Gerald, J.O. Gerald, Howard M. Gerald, L.C. Gerald, and Barsie Gerald; and two sisters, Chellie Gerald Todd and Wilma Booth.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Hardwick Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Cane Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Johnson officiating, committal services following at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
