Beverly Haas Brookbank: Tabor City

1945 – 2019

     Beverly Haas Brookbank of Tabor City died Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach. She was 73.

     Born Oct. 4, 1945 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Austin Haas and Edith Wheat Haas.

     She is survived by her husband, Samuel “Sandy” Brookbank of the home; one daughter, Jessica Brookbank of Charlotte; two brothers, Ted Haas and Scotty Haas, both of Picayune, Mississippi; one sister, Angie Rogers of Picayune, Mississippi; one granddaughter; and three great grandchildren.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
