Debbie J. Spivey: Conway

1959 – 2019

     Deborah “Debbie” Johnson Cail Spivey of Conway passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.  She was 60.

     Mrs. Spivey was born on July 16, 1959 in Conway, to Eugene Johnson and the late Winnie G. Hooks. Mrs. Spivey was a believer of the Baptist faith, a loving homemaker, mother, and grandmother.

     Survivors include her father, Eugene Johnson of Conway; her significant other, Tim Potts of Conway; her two sons, Timothy Shay Cail and George Justin Cail and Amy, all of Sylvania, Georgia; four grandchildren, Brittany Cail and Gage Cail of Conway, and Rain Cail and Justice Cail of Sylvania, Georgia; her two sisters, Michelle H. Eldridge and husband, John of Aynor, and Sherry Thomas and husband, Mike of Myrtle Beach; step-brother, Harley Edsel Hooks, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; two special friends, Mike Gainey and Lester Gainey of Conway, and many nieces and nephews.

     Mrs. Spivey was predeceased by Winnie G. Hooks, Harley Edsel Hooks, Sr., and  her brother, Russell Eugene Johnson.

     A funeral service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mack Hutson officiating, committal services following at Bayboro Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
