Glendale Jolly: Wilmington
1931 – 2019
Glendale Jolly of Wilmington and formerly of Clarendon died Monday, Nov. 18, in Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington. He was 88.
Born Feb. 23, 1931 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late James Arthur Jolly and Mary Stanley Jolly and the widower of Charlotte Ann Boyd Jolly.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Norman and husband Marshall of Clarendon, Greta Walker and husband Robbie of Leland; one grandson, Adam Marlowe and wife Meredith of Midland, Texas; one brother, Jimmy Jolly and wife Patricia of Clarendon.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Marlowe; and siblings, Edna Brown, Annie Pearl Hardee, and Ralph Jolly.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the Chapel.
