Andrew David Dehart: Green Sea

1938 – 2019

     Andrew David Dehart of Green Sea died Monday, Dec. 30, in Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. He was 81.

     Born July 4, 1938 in Clay County, he was the son of the late John Henry Dehart and Geneva Mashburn Dehart.

     He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

     He is survived by his fiancée, Doris Ann Fowler of Green Sea; two sons, David Allen Dehart and Jeffrey Wayne Dehart; one daughter, Diana Gay Dehart; three brothers, Tony Dehart of High Point, Gerald Dehart of Archdale, and Johnny Dehart of Florida; two sisters, Linda Sue Dehart Walton of High Point and Brenda June Dehart Mincey; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Marie Greer Dehart; and one son, Jeremy Lynn Dehart.

     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
