An Horry County man has been identified as the body found east of Tabor City last month, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Dave Timothy Singleton, 44, was found in a wooded area off of the 5800 block of Ramsey Ford Road, Tabor City, on Dec. 12, 2019.
Few details surrounding his death, or the investigation, have been released, though the sheriff’s office in a news release said “foul play is suspected.”
Singleton was a resident of Longs as recently as Nov. 28, 2019, J. Reuben Long Detention Center records show. He was charged by the Horry County Police Department then with trespassing, and released from the jail near Conway on Dec. 4, 2019.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
