Joey Harold Watts: Clarendon

Joey Harold Watts of Clarendon died Friday, Feb. 14, in his home. He was 49.
Born April 25, 1970 in Horry County, he was the son of John Watts and his wife Sharon and Mary “Bonnie” Ruth Strickland Ward and her husband Corbett.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Kay Jernigan Watts of the home; two sons, Donovan Harold Watts and his wife Kelly and Nathan Cole Watts of Tabor City; two brothers, Jeff Watts and his wife Jessica of Little Mountain and Dwayne Watts of Tabor City; a sister, Regina Fowler and her husband Drake of Conway; and two granddaughters, Lexi Watts and Zoey Watts.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Erskine and Bertha Strickland and paternal grandparents: AC and Pearl Watts
He was a member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, in Forest Lawn Baptist Church, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
