James Edward Oxendine: Loris

1970 – 2020

     James Edward Oxendine of Loris passed away Tuesday, March 3. He was 49.

     James was born in Lumberton on July 9, 1970, a son of Bobby Chavis and Patsy Watts.

     James was predeceased by an infant son, Michael James Oxendine.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Crystal Rhodes Oxendine, a son, Allen Oxendine of Loris; a daughter, Alexis Oxendine of Loris, two grandchildren; his mother, Patsy Watts and husband Winston “Pee Wee” of Loris; his father, Bobby Chavis of Rowland; three brothers, Billy Ray Oxendine, Mack Watts, and Mickey Watts; three sisters, Mattie Lacy, Brinda Watts, and Joann Watts Benoist.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Mack Watts, Rev. Cory Goodman, and Pastor Ray Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow at Old Springfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
