Enoch Ivey Lee: Whiteville
1934 – 2020
Enoch Ivey Lee of Whiteville died Monday, April 20, in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville. He was 85.
Born Sept. 20, 1934 in Camden County, he was the son of the late Robert E. Lee and Irdell Wilson Lee and the widower of Nellie McPherson Lee.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He also was a member of Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church where he served as Elder and League Secretary.
He is survived by three brothers-in-law, Alfred McPherson and wife Agnes, Jimmy McPherson and wife Betty and Hoyt McPherson and wife Virgie; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman B. Lee and Franklin D. R. Lee.
A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, in McPherson Cemetery.
