Peggy Harrelson Clemons: Green Sea

1932 – 2020

     Peggy Harrelson Clemons of Green Sea went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, April 28, after an extended illness. She was 87.

     Mrs. Clemons was born Dec. 18, 1932 in Loris to the late Harmon Quincy Harrelson and the late Minnie Pridgen Harrelson. She was a member of Green Sea Baptist Church for 57 years and currently a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Loris.

     She was a seamstress prior to her retirement after 25 years with Tabor Products. Mrs. Clemons will be most remembered as a devoted, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

     Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Lynn Clemons of Green Sea; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     Mrs. Clemons was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Vernon K. Clemons; three brothers, Dorris Harrelson, Woodrow Harrelson, Winston Harrelson; and four sisters, Elise Roberts, Edna Tyler, Evon Phipps, and Minnette Hill.

     Family appreciates continued prayers and support during this difficult time. Special thanks to Carlyle Senior Care of Fork for their care and assistance.

     Private graveside services were planned
