Carolyn Yvonne Johnson Chestnut: Tabor City

1946 – 2020

     Carolyn Yvonne Johnson Chestnut of Tabor City died Thursday, May 14, at her residence. She was 74.

     Surviving are her husband, Wilbur Chestnut; daughter, Carol Chestnut of Durham; sister, Gloria Bradshaw of Conway; two grandchildren; and her mother-in-law, Mildred Chestnut of Tabor City.

     Funeral services, for immediate family only with notification, were planned for noon Monday, May 18, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville with Bishop Dennis Chestnut, Ph.D. officiating, burial following in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Facial masks are required for the service.
