Anthony Murrell Smith: Nakina

1961 – 2020

     Anthony Murrell Smith of Nakina died Friday, May 29, in Lower Cape Fear LifeCareCenter in Whiteville. He was 58,

     Born Aug. 24, 1961 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Landon Smith and Mazzie Jones Smith.

     He is survived by one sister, Yvonne Hoch of Loris.

     Family would like to especially thank all of the caregivers and staff of the Lower Cape Fear LifeCareCenter.

     Funeral services were planned for 7 p.m. Monday, June 1, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.

     Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing will be observed and the family has requested that all who attend wear a mask.

     A private burial service will be held at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
