Emma Mae Shepard Toth: Loris

1928 – 2020

     Emma Mae Shepard Toth of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at McLeod Seacoast. She was 92.

     Mrs. Toth was born March 5, 1928 in Wilmington to the late Alfred Tillon Shepard and the late Mable Baton Shepard Watters.

     Mrs. Toth was a homemaker and of the Advent Christian faith, but will be most remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her.

     Survivors include her husband of 69 years, John Alex Toth of Loris; siblings Catherine Brown of Loris, Joanne Yopp of Wilmington, and Ralph Watters and wife, Melanie of Burgaw; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     Mrs. Toth was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Barnes; and two brothers, Russell Watters and Wayne Watters.

     Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
