Lynda Gerald Grainger: Conway

1950 – 2020

     Lynda Pauline Gerald Grainger of Conway passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, at Conway Medical Center. She was 70.

     Born March 20, 1950 in Loris, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Earl Gerald and the late Martha Pauline Stevens Gerald. She was a loving homemaker and member of Cane Branch Baptist Church.

     Survivors include her two daughters, Susie Shannon of Elgin, and Michelle Thompkins of Galivants Ferry, SC; a brother, Danny Earl Gerald of Conway; a sister, Wanda Forrest of Conway; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grainger was predeceased by her son, Michael David Grainger; and a granddaughter.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Cane Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Hutson officiating, committal services following at Cane Branch Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the church.
