Johnny Elbert Dunn: Loris

1943 – 2020

     Johnny Elbert Dunn of Loris passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, at his home. He was 77.

     Mr. Dunn was born Jan. 5, 1943 in Carthage to the late Rily Dunn and the late Myrtle Kaiser Dunn. Mr. Dunn worked as cement truck driver until his retirement and attended Trinity Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dunn of the home; and many loving nieces and nephews.

     Mr. Dunn was predeceased by his son, John Christopher Dunn; two daughters, Debra Lynn Dunn and Cynthia Renee Dunn; three brothers, Charlie Dunn, Bobby Dunn, and Billy Dunn; and a sister, Mary Stewart.

     Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Randy Ghent officiating.

     Visitation was planned for the half-our preceding the services at the cemetery.
