Don Mills: Hallsboro
1945 – 2020
Don Mills of Hallsboro went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 19. He was 75.
Mr. Mills was born Feb. 3, 1945 in Loris to the late Oscar Corbett and Leila Suggs Mills. He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Lloyd Mills and Corbett Mills.
Mr. Mills worked as carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Gary Mills of Whiteville; two daughters, Donna Sellers and husband, Stevie of Chadbourn and Kelly Bryson of Whiteville; the children’s mother, Priscilla Norris Mills of Whiteville; four grandchildren, Matthew Sellers, Jessica Sellers, Brinley Bryson, and Laikyn Bryson; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Sellers and Barbara Grace Sellers; two brothers, Thomas Ray Mills of Longs and Junior Mills of Thomasville; two sisters, Virginia Stevens Blanton of Longs and Pauline Edgerton of Colorado; and a special friend, Coleen Long.
Visitation was planned for noon Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mack Hutson, Rev. Charles Cribb, and Rev. Terry Green officiating, committal services following at Myrtle Green Cemetery.
