Grady Edward “Boddie” Ward, Jr.: Tabor City

1975 – 2020

     Grady Edward “Boddie” Ward, Jr. of Tabor City died Saturday, Oct. 3 in the McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris. He was 45.

     Born June 16, 1975 in Columbus County, he was the son of the Grady Edward Ward, Sr. of Green Sea and Patricia “Tina” Phillips Ward of Bladenboro.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Leigh Ann Warwick of Tabor City; a daughter, Brendalyn Ward of Tabor City; a brother, Dock Ward of Rembert; step mother Elaine Church of Whiteville; two step daughters, Miracle Ann Hunt and Haleigh Madison Hinson, both of Tabor City; a step brother, Keith Church of Whiteville; a sister in law, Sheila Todd of Evergreen; one brother in law, Tony Long of Evergreen; nieces Elizabeth and Kristen White of Evergreen; three aunts, Brenda Soles of Tabor City and Bonita Locklear of Tabor City and Linda Phillips of Whiteville; and seven uncles, Jerry Phillips of Tabor City, Tom Ward and Freddie Ward of Nakina,, Richard Ward of Hallsboro, Kell Ward of Clarendon, Walter Ward and Pete Ward of Whiteville.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
