Ledenia Mills Fowler: Loris

1937 – 2020

     Ledenia Mills Fowler of Loris died Tuesday, Oct. 6 in McLeod Loris hospital, Loris. She was 82.

     Born Nov. 23, 1937 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Worth Benjamin Mills and Roberta Faircloth Mills.

     She is survived by her husband, Cecil Clyde McDowell of Loris; a daughter, Connie Mills and husband Greg of Tabor City; a son, Barry Fowler and wife Cindy of Loris; two brothers, Horace Mills and Michael Mills of Tabor City; two sisters, Levonia Gore and Frances Ganious of Tabor City; and two grandchildren, Kaitlynn Ward and husband Clay and Kyle Mills.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Eugene Fowler.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in New Life Baptist Church, entombment following in Twin City Mausoleum.
