Barbara Ann Spivey: Loris

1954 – 2020

     Barbara Ann Spivey of Loris died Wednesday, Nov. 4, in her home with her loved ones by her side. She was 65.

     Born Dec. 25, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Michael Edward Palumbo and Virginia Stewart Palumbo.

     She was a private nurse for more than 30 years.

     She is survived by her husband, Danny Spivey; three daughters, Carrie Feldbusch (Jeremy) of Garner, Sherrie Rippa (Corey Mitchell) of Springfield, Georgia, and Kathleen Spivey of Loris; three step children, Wendy Pettry (Jerry) of Charleston, West Virginia, Dustin Enzor (Erin) and Brandon Enzor, both of Tabor City; a sister, Marianne Mallizzio (Gerry) of Batavia, Illinois; three grandchildren, Zackery Mitchell, Alexis Mitchell, and Cameron Feldbusch; two step grandchildren, Tyler Means and Brandi Means; two nieces, Danielle Novak (Brandon), Nathalie Mallizzio; great nephew Jace; and great niece Brooklyn.

     She was a member of the Eastern Star.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Fowler-Hilbourn Cemetery, 287 Fowler Lane, Tabor City.
