My Sweet Potato…

Anthony and Amanda Smith of Tabor City were first to stop by offices of the North Carolina Yam Festival at Tabor City on Friday in the “She’s My Sweet Potato, Yes I Yam” promoted on the festival’s social media pages. They scored a pair of Taste of Tabor dinner event tickets for Oct. 21, and bought a third so their 3-year-old son Eli could join them.
