CC Schools Career & Opportunity Fair Sat.

     Columbus County Schools is holding its first Career and Opportunity Fair this weekend.

     Scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, the fair will take place at East Columbus High School. Its purpose is to enhance the “Grow Your Own Initiative” and take the first step toward bridging the gap between community and schools.

     Anyone who holds a GED, High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree are encouraged to attend and review opportunities for careers in the district.

     Leaders of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences at Whiteville will be present with STEM activities for any school-aged children who attend with their parent or guardian.
