Fire strikes apartment building in Loris

     A significant fire erupted in a two-story apartment building at 4269 Thomas Street in Loris Thursday morning.

     Loris Fire Department was supported by Horry County Fire Rescue and the Tabor City Fire Department, with the fire under control sometime after 9 a.m. An aerial truck was used as part of the fire suppression effort.
