Ribbon falls for new Tabor City School

Columbus County Commissioner Brent Watts, in whose district the new Tabor City School sits, cut the ceremonial ribbon formally opening the campus in front of a large crowd Thursday morning. Principal Dale Norris, in the far right below, joined his faculty and staff during the ceremony. Seated at the far left below is Dr. Jonathan Williams, who just last week became Superintendent of the Whiteville City Schools. As Associate Superintendent of the Columbus County Schools he was tasked with oversight of the nearly $30 million project.
