Linda Faye Lewis Fowler: Green Sea

1946 – 2026

     Linda Faye Lewis Fowler of Green Sea passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 20, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 80.

     Born July 30, 1946, in Marion County, Linda was the daughter of the late A.V. Lewis and Berlice Causey Lewis. She lived a life rooted in love, family, faith, and devotion to those who meant the most to her.

     Linda is survived by her loving husband, William “Billy” Clayton Fowler, Jr.; her two daughters, Wilma Fowler Pond (Tim) of Little River and Kim Fowler Costa (Chris) of Murrells Inlet; her sister, Gail Kiser; six grandchildren, Will Bell, Kristen Fowler (Cody), Kyle Bell (Paige), Gianni Costa, Nicholas Costa, and Gavin Pond; and eight great-grandchildren, Paisleigh, Bentley, Mila, Brilynn, Grayson, Peyton, Ayden, and Emalynn.

     In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cindy Lynn Fowler; her grandson, Kaine Strickland; her brother, Kenneth Lewis; and her sister, Martha Brown.

     Linda devoted more than 30 years of her life to serving as the bookkeeper at Tabor City IGA, where her years of dedication and hard work reflected the dependable and caring woman she was. She was also a longtime member of Green Sea Baptist Church.

     Above all else, Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a cherished Granny, and a proud great-grandmother. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved each of them with her whole heart.

     In addition to her family, she cherished her special friends Jerry and Patsy Bullard, and Lillie Powell. They were more than friends to her she counted them as family.

     Linda will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Green Sea Baptist Church, burial following at Green Sea Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services at the church.
