Josh Godwin: Clarendon

1983 – 2026

     Josh Godwin of Clarendon went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday Oct. 21. He was 43.

     Born April 6, 1983 in Horry County, he is survived by his parents Larry and Wanda Godwin of Clarendon; two brothers, Ab Godwin (Ashley) of Clarendon and Jeff Godwin (Keel) of Raleigh; long-time friend Brittany Chavis of Clarendon; two nephews, Abram Godwin and Jonah Godwin; two nieces, Ella Godwin and Lily Godwin; and Halie Chavis, someone very dear to the family.

     A graveside service was planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, in McPherson Cemetery. Family planned to receive friends following the service.
