Food giveaways include 8 tons of sweet potatoes

     Back-to-back freed food giveaways, including eight tons of sweet potatoes, are this weekend at Facts of Life Church near Tabor City.

     Columbus County residents only are eligible to take part in the “TEFAP” Food and Nutrition Service giveaway at 10 a.m. Friday.

     All residents of North and South Carolina may take part in the giveaway of 16,000 of sweet potatoes beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, while supplies last.
