Old Zion Wesleyan Church will celebrate its 109 year history with homecoming services on Sunday, Oct. 1.
Former Old Zion pastor Rev. Mark Klass will lead the 11 a.m. worship service, his wife Dorothy scheduled to sing. He is currently pastor at Pleasant Grove Wesleyan Church in Siler City.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m., a covered-dish lunch in the Family Life Center will follow the worship service.
Pastor Roger Parsons and the congregation invite all to take part. The church is located at 10144 Swamp Fox Highway East (NC 904) about 11 miles east of Tabor City.
