Earldean Wright Norris: Loris

Earldean Wright Norris of Loris passed away Saturday, Jan. 26 at McLeod Seacoast hospital following an illness. She was 90
Born Aug. 9, 1922 in Loris, she was the daughter of Mack Dillon Wright and Isabelle Boyd Wright.
Mrs. Norris was a homemaker and an active member of Lawndale Baptist Church. Affectionately known as “Mamma” and “Grandma” by all, she will be most remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her three sons, Carroll Norris and wife, Rhonda, Terry Norris and wife, Cathy and Darrell Norris all of Loris; four daughters, Barbara Hardee, Lynda Todd and husband, Ray, Karen N. Huggins all of Loris, and Patricia Grainger and husband, Wendell, of Moyock; daughter-in-law, Janice Powell Norris of Loris; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Joan Wright Harrelson of Loris.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Norris was predeceased by her husband, Alfie Isaac Norris; one son, Rev. Doyce E. Norris; two brothers, Mack Donald Wright and Bobby Eugene Wright and one son-in-law, Windell Hardee.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Lawndale Baptist Church with Pastor Rusty McAlister and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Entombment was to follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
