Freddie Michael McCumbee: Tabor City

    Freddie Michael “Mike” McCumbee of Tabor City, died Monday, Feb. 11 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Whiteville. He was 64.
      Born in Columbus County, he was the son of Cecil Cartrette McCumbee and the late Fred Cole McCumbee.
      In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons:  Michael Jonathan McCumbee and Jeremy Cole McCumbee, both of Tabor City and three sisters:  Teresa M. Long of Ocean Isle Beach, Pamela M. Majewski of Monroe, and Cecelia M. Johnson of Blairs, Va.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.  Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Forest Lawn Baptist Church with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
