Joe David Stephens: Supply

     Joe David Stephens of Supply died Monday, April 15. He was 85.
     Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Florrie Fowler Stephens. He was preceded in death by his former wife Euzena Walters Stephens; daughter Zelda Stephens, and a granddaughter.  
     He is survived by his wife, Eliza Fowler Stephens of Tabor City; two daughters, Betty Pittman of Supply and Kathryn Pittman of Raeford; a sister, Hazel Arnette of Tabor City; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.
     Funeral services were planned for 11 am.. Thursday, April 18 in Dogwood Hill Baptist Church. A graveside service was planned to follow at 3 p.m. in the Phillippi Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Raeford.
