Brendie D. Grainger: Lugoff
Brendie D. Grainger of Lugoff died Saturday, April 20. He was 69.
Born May 3, 1943 he was the son of Dewey Grainger and Mabel Grainger, deceased, of Green Sea.
Mr. Grainger was employed with American Bakeries for many years and owned and operated Sunset Driving Range in Columbia. After moving to Lugoff, he became owner and operator of The Windmill Restaurant and the Longtown Corner Store.
He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Tammy (Billy) Skipper of Conway; two sons, Mitchell (Patty) Grainger of Green Sea, Shawn (Dana) Grainger of Lugoff; three brothers, Roger (Darcus) Grainger of Tabor City, Richard (Winona) Grainger of Tabor City, Stewart (Angie) Grainger of Green Sea; three sisters, Sonda Jernigan of Green Sea, Ann (Gerald) Caines of Green Sea, Sheila Randall of Conway; three grandchildren, Marilyn (Lee) McCormick, Kaley Trent, Wyatt Grainger; one great grandson Ryan McCormick.
Graveside services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Sea.
