Pork chop dinner sale Sat. for TCEmS chief
A pork chop dinner sale to benefit Tabor City Emergency Services Chief Ronnie Watts is planned for Saturday, June 29, at the squad building, located on Jones Street at East 5th Street.
Sale hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Watts received a heart in transplant surgery at Duke University Hospital in Durham on May 13. Proceeds from the sale are to aid in paying medi- cal bills and for medications he requires.
