Grace Louise Pettis Campbell: Aynor
Grace Louise Pettis Campbell of Aynor passed away Monday, June 24 at McLeod Loris hospital following an illness. She was 82.
Born on May 10, 1931 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of Mr. Benjamin Pettis and Mrs. Blanche Hays Pettis. Mrs. Campbell was a loving homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her sons, William R. Campbell, II of Pennsboro, W.Va., and Thomas E. Campbell of Greenwood, W. Va.; daughters, Ramona May of Galivants Ferry, Barbara Burton of Loris, and Deborah Campbell of Aynor; brothers, Louis Pettis of Virginia and Roland Pettis of Loris; sisters, Mary Jenkins of Florida, Helen DeLorenzo of Loris, and Shirley Gasque of Salisbury, Md.; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was predeceased by her husband, William Raymond Campbell, Sr.; daughter, Rhonda Lee Campbell; brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Pettis; and sisters, Dorothy Dao and Peggy Jablonski.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Greenwood, W. Va., and inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
