Phyllis Suggs: Tabor City

    Phyllis Ann “Susie” Suggs of Tabor City died Sunday, July 7, in her home. She was 64.
    Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of Isadell Floyd Cummings and the late Herman Wallace Fowler. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Marvin Ray Suggs.
    She is survived by her husband, Jerry Gray Suggs; a son, Steven Jerry Suggs and wife Wendy Ray Suggs of Tabor City; a brother, Bill Fowler of Tabor City; two sisters, Diane Smith and Janice Smith, both of Tabor City; three granddaughters: Alexis Ray Suggs, Sharlie Gray Suggs and Riley Bray Suggs; brother-in-law Waduis Gray Suggs of Tabor City; and two sisters-in-law, Margie Hooks of Tabor City and Shirley Hewett of Cherry Grove, SC.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, in Dulah Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
