Irvin Larry Duncan: Tabor City
Irvin Larry Duncan of Tabor City died Wednesday, July 10, in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center Whiteville. He was 62.
Born in Loris, he was the son of Dorothy Coleman Duncan and the late Ralph Benston Duncan. Duncan worked for the NC Department of Correction for 20 years.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Chevonne Hillard Duncan; a son, Christopher Ray Duncan of Chesapeake, Va.; a daughter, Tonya Duncan Hammonds of North Myrtle Beach; two step-children: Sean Dankert of Jerral, Tex. and Meaghan Dankert of Houghton Lake, Mich.; three brothers, Lloyd Benston Duncan and Mickey Ray Duncan, both of Tabor City, and Terry Gene Duncan of Spartanburg; a sister, Maurnice Duncan Johnson of Tabor City; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Myrtle Green Cemetery.

Funeral services will be announced by Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.
