Versie Pauline Mishoe Lewis: Loris

    Versie Pauline Mishoe Lewis of Loris passed away Sunday, July 14 at Loris McLeod Hospital. She was 84.
    Mrs. Versie was born on October 18, 1928 in Loris the daughter of George Dusenberry “Dude” Mishoe and Mary Harris Mishoe.
    Mrs. Lewis worked for many years with CHF Industries and was a fifty year member of the Loris Chapter 106 Order of the Eastern Star and a longtime member of Gurley Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her son, Harold Lewis and wife, Lisa of Loris; her granddaughter, Miracle Lynn Lewis of Loris; one brother, Lennie Mishoe of Loris and two sisters, Alma Hughes of Dog Bluff, SC and Cheryl Huggins of Loris.
    Mrs. Lewis was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Howard William “Bill” Lewis, two brothers, Edward Burlon Mishoe and Townsend Mishoe and two sisters, Alice Anderson and Carolyn Ward.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 at Gurley Baptist Church with Eastern Star Funeral Rites conferred by the Loris Chapter 106 Order Of The Eastern Star at 7:30 p.m
    Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 at Gurley Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Hackett officiating. Committal services were to follow at Bayboro Cemetery.
