Judy Faye Ray: Nichols

    Judy Faye Ray of Nichols died Sunday, June 28, at her home. She was 60.
    She was the daughter of the late Sally Mae Miller Ray and C.W. Smalls.
    She is survived by her five children, Douglas Ray of Longs, Bernard Ray, Savirina Johnson, Latrena Johnson, and Lamont Johnson, all of Nichols; 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation was planned from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Westside Funeral Home in Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Great Grace Non-Denominational Church in Tabor City. Bishop Anthony Gerald is the pastor. Rev. Rush was to deliver the eulogy.
    Burial was to follow in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery in Tabor City.
