Joseph Leroy Little: Longs

    Joseph Leroy Little of Longs, age 93, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home following an illness. He was 93.
    Mr. Little was born on February 11, 1920 in Longs, to Mr. Robbie Burr Little and Mrs. Marie Smith Little.
    Mr. Leroy retired as a farmer and was a longtime member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Eloise Chestnut Little of the home, two daughters, Norma Jean Ford and husband, Boyd R. Ford, Jr. of Loris, and Kathy L. Kelley and husband, Donald G. Kelley, Sr. of North Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren, Boyd Ford, III of Loris, Donald G. Kelley, Jr. and wife, Laura, of North Myrtle Beach, Cissy Kelley Ellis and husband, Todd, of Columbia, and Hollie Kelley Mosack and husband, Glenn, of Charlotte; ten great-grandchildren, Bailey Brooks Ford, Joseph, Jacob and Trace Kelley, Logan, Graham and Blake Ellis, Braxton, Morgan and Parker Mosack; three step-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Miranda Bell and Trey Gordy and one brother, Norman Little and wife, Jean, of Little River.
    Mr. Little was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Albert Lloyd Little.
    Graveside services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31 at Buck Creek Cemetery with Reverend Carl Harris and Pastor Larry Allen officiating. 
    The family planned to receive friends at their home from noon until 2 p.m. following the committal service.
