Annie Lee Todd McCormick King Lanier: Loris
Annie Lee Todd McCormick King Lanier of Liberty Church Road, Loris, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 16, at McLeod Loris Hospital following a lingering illness. She was 89.
She was born Feb. 4, 1924 in Loris, a daughter of the late L. Onen Todd and the late Cora Orilla Cook Todd. She was predeceased by a son, George Charlton McCormick; three grandchildren, Casey McCormick, Eddie McCormick, and Morgan Hughes; and seven siblings, Talmadge Todd, Estelle Todd, Early Todd, Joe R. Todd, Susie Mae Prince, Vera Causey and Virginia Livingston.
Mrs. Lanier is survived by five children, Junior McCormick and his wife Vera of Conway, Elizabeth Conn and her husband Gary, Carl McCormick, Bobby McCormick and his wife Susan and Linford McCormick and his wife Judy all of Loris; two sisters, Mary Lou Paul of Cheraw and Orilla Thompson of Loris; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 in the Goldfinch Funeral Home Loris Chapel with Rev. Jack Hutson officiating. Burial followed in Twin City Memorial Gardens.
